Setting: Small Library
Time: Day 008, dawn/very, very early morning
Summary: Lorenzo and Alphonse are in the library, ChibiChibi and Fletcher appear!
It was strange, the way the clock appeared to have skipped from one-thirty to seven. At least, he assumed it had. Only several hours after looking at it once, confirming that the time was indeed still one-thirty, morning had arrived and the clock had spun ahead five and a half hours. In his own world that might have been normal, but here it seemed off. Time should not have moved so fast. Dawn had come just as abruptly, if it could be called that. The sky was only a few shades lighter than the night had been and all the lights were still out, but with the monsters gone that was more of an inconvenience than an actual bother.
More annoying was the the grating sounds of construction that persisted into the day. It was loud, obnoxious, and he'd already had to deal listen to it for three weeks. It didn't seem as though an end was near, however, and so he'd worked his way into the little library, searching for something else to focus on, anything else. It was difficult to see with the house still being as dark as it was, but he could at least make out what was written in the books. Flipping through a few, he found them all to be literary fiction as always.
Better than nothing, he supposed. He grabbed a few at random, not particularly caring what they were about. He looked to Alphonse. "Are you ready to go?" No sense in staying here and risking having to deal with people walking to and from the second house.
