Setting: The Entrance Hall
Time: Night 009
Summary: Axl appears in the house, and immediately runs into some trouble. Good thing he's armed.
Warnings: Impaled monsters.
Axl had slipped. He wasn't sure how or when, but he'd slipped, and everything-- all of his outer sensors and then his consciousness-- had shut off.
But he was regaining consciousness at last, his visual sensors the first to switch back on. He blinked his eyes open and found himself looking up at a very unfamiliar ceiling; he was inside some kind of enterance hall to what appeared to be a spectacular human building, a mansion of some kind. He'd never seen anything quite like it.
He sat up, frowning and scanning around, partially to test his other sensors and make sure everything still worked. He seemed to be in one piece.
"Where the heck am I?" He wondered out loud, standing and going for his handguns-- ah, right where he left them. Keeping them out, just in case, he continued slowly down the hall, staring around and trying to place where he was. He could probably teleport right out, but... first, he wanted to find out how the heck he wound up there, and whose place this was to begin with. Had he been taken prisoner?
"... awesome," he said flatly, folding his arms across his chest. "Just what I need. Hey!" He raised his voice, going to the door ahead and holding his guns close as he pushed it open. "Anybody home?"
He stopped dead still when he saw that was on the other side. There was no way he was truly seeing what lie ahead of him, no way. Bodies, what seemed to be human bodies, pale, bloodied, long, sharpened spears of wood piercing them.
It wouldn't have been nearly as bad if they weren't still moving.
As if they knew he was coming, they were already coming towards him, hobbling, pouring blood and where in the hell had Axl been taken? What was this horrible place?
He slammed the door shut and nearly fell back, clutching his guns almost painfully tight in his hands. His sensors reeled, his mind trying to sort out exactly what had just happened.
"... what the hell was that?!"
