Setting: Entrance to the West Staircase
Time: Day 13, middle of the day
Summary: Rui Yamase arrives and wets herself. B|
Warnings: She might hit you or swear.
The last thing that Rui Yamase remembered was saying goodbye to her friends and heading to work for the day at Company F, her office. Her last memory immediately contradicted her current experiences, though. She didn’t understand; one moment, she had been walking up the stairs…she vaguely remembered falling…but here she was, submerged and on the floor of some creepy mansion.
There were no words to describe the transition. None that she could think of, anyways. She sat there in the water before scrambling to her feet, but she only stumbled and fell backwards against the door. In her state of panic, she didn’t even notice that it was a door. She just thought it was a wall. She sighed angrily. That was before she screamed and took of running through the house. She didn’t know where she was, but the floor was wet, and that was enough to weird her out.
Unfortunately, since the water was waist deep, she more or less waded. Each step was difficult, considering the water around her.
“Hey!” She yelled at the top of her lungs as she paused in the middle of the entrance room, pondering whether she should go left or right. “Hey! Can anyone hear me?” Oh, now she was worried. She was positive this wasn’t a dream. She could tell when she was dreaming, and this certainly wasn’t one of them. “Damn it…,” she swore under her breath as she peeled off down the left, down the west hallway.
She stopped for only a moment, looking at the table with a vase of flowers on it. The water was deep, and it was hard to run effectively. Rui knew better than to try and swim, though. That, and she didn’t want to get her hair and watch wet. Her purse was already soaked, so she was holding it above her head. With any luck, her cellphone would still work. The blonde psychic didn’t dare stop to check and see if it was even in there anymore.
Eventually, she made it to the west staircase and walked a few steps up before collapsing and sighing, breathing heavily. “What kind of place is this?! If I find whoever brought me here, I swear…they’re going to regret it!”
