Setting: Blue Kitchen
Time: Day 002 Afternoon (after Wild YUKIMI Appears)
Summary: Yukimi, having explored and found no exit, decides that dinner and lemon tea are the solution to everything.
Warnings: There might be aprons? Also, Yukimi has a dirty mouth.
There was very little in the house that interested Yukimi. The greenhouse was kind of nice, he supposed, aside from the big fucking hole in the floor; he sat in the tree for a while and let himself relax. With all the mess about the Shinrabanshou and Yoite's slow decline plus his normal workload, he hadn't had much time to himself. The house would almost a welcome relief, if it weren't so impossible to leave. He hoped that Yoite was getting along alright back home- but to be honest, the kid probably hadn't even come home yet. He generally left without a word and came back when he was hungry, like some kind of gangly alley cat. But still, he would come home eventually and he was too young to live alone, couldn't cook worth a damn, and god forbid he have some kind of medical emergency... Yukimi sighed and came down from the tree. Figures. The moment he got some free time, he'd start worrying. Better go find something to do. As he climbed down, he accidentally shook a note out of the tree.
This was not here and couldn't have been here but why is it here it couldn't have couldn't have couldn't have
Why is this tree here?
Never one for riddles, Yukimi took the note for gibberish and left it on the ground.
Yukimi wasn't sure why he was so hungry; judging from the sun outside, it was barely dinnertime yet. It felt like it had been a long time, but he trusted the sun over his biological clock, which was permanently off-kilter from late nights and daytime naps. That sort of thing just happened when you juggled two eccentric jobs. But the fact remained that he was hungry, so he headed to the kitchen and searced the cupboards for something edible. He was pleased to find that they had all sorts of good stuff, from tomato paste to fish to- well, pretty much anything he might need. But today, he decided, was the day for pancakes. He found some basic ingredients, plus some strawberries in the fridge, and got to work.
