Time: Day 003, Morning
Summary: Machi returns to Anna and the two discover Rayne.
Warnings: Uh. Rayne.
Machi's expression was serious as he walked along the walls on his way back to Anna, his thoughts hovering constantly around his new situation. It was... disconcerting, to say the least. Possibly a lot of other things, many of them even worse. He didn't like the idea of someone being able to feel his feelings, even more than he disliked being able to feel someone else's. The only saving grace was that he'd gotten Jack to promise to stay away from him, which was at best only a temporary solution to what could become a very big problem. Hiding and ignoring feelings was something Machi was accustomed to being able to do and (in fact) habitually accustomed to doing; altering them--for any reason--was something he was pretty sure was impossible. The pianist wasn't comfortable with Jack having access to his innermost feelings and he didn't want Jack anywhere near him--anywhere where he could do any damage or find out anything worse. He'd have to find some way to resolve this. It was too complicated and far too dangerous. For him and everyone else.
On a more positive note, he found that Anna was still asleep (and where he'd left her), and he bent down to shake her awake, almost whispering a greeting in Borginian before realising she wouldn't understand it. The fact that she'd never known he was gone cheered him--the reasons were too jumbled to sort apart, but at least now he didn't have to lie about why he'd been gone.
((OOC: Nooot sure I did the job I was trying to do with Machi's inner rumblings, but first posts can be edited and you guys wanted to get started. :>))
