Setting: East Hallway
Time: Night 004, shortly after nightfall
Summary: Mio, Zetsu and Red are in a thread. Stuff happens.
Mio supposed the relative warmth of the house had spoiled her, because she was certain she was bothered more by the cold than she should have been. It wasn't as though the village had been any warmer and she'd handled that better...but then, she hadn't been trudging through snow for the duration of that. The problem was partially solved by her having had taken a blanket from the linen closet, fumbling with holding it as they went through the greenhouse and she saw those...hands...ghostly hands, reminiscent of the ones she'd seen in the village. Sticking out from trees and bushes rather than a wall, but trying to grab her--them--and...she didn't know what.
Fortunately, the camera seemed to temporarily dismiss them, but she'd wanted to get out of there quickly all the same.
The grand room was only marginally better. It was warmer, but upon entering her voice had made a rather sudden departure. Dragging her stolen blanket along the length of the room she'd settled for looking to Zetsu and tugging on his sleeve, thinking to herself that the way she felt must have been how Allison did...she remained silent even as they went into the hallway, only letting go of his robe's sleeve as she stopped at the mother's study, pulling the blanket back over her shoulders and shivering. With the filament dead she allowed herself to awkwardly hold the blanket with one hand (at this point making it looking and acting like a poorly constructed cape) she put her hand on the knob and looked up to Zetsu, silently questioning whether or not they should take a look inside...she was still feeling nervous from the previous night and it showed, but things kept appearing there and she supposed the potential finds were more important than her petty fears.
