It was breathtaking. The wide expanse of sea, the smell of salt and surf filling his lungs, and the moonlight reflecting off the water.
The fresh air for what felt like the first time in months. It was breathtaking, but then, aside from the food being rotten, this night had been surprisingly relaxing. It was a refreshing change after all the uneasiness of the previous night. He'd spent the week gathering food and practicing with his sword when he wasn't working in the garden. Nataku found he quite liked garden work. It was nice.
This was Nataku's first time seeing the ocean. True, during the course of his duties he'd been a lot of places in the lower world, but he'd always been brought directly to the person he needed to fight and left before he could take in the scenery and when he snuck down by himself he usually wound up in the same forest far away from everyone.
The others needed to know about this. He'd explore further but the house had a tendency to change things around on a whim and he didn't want to wind up locked out by himself. He turned from the door, took a deep breath, and let out a yell--completely forgetting hardly anyone could understand each other right now.
"GUYS! THE FRONT DOOR'S OPENED!!!"
